Here's a bit more:
Hello! This part of the site where I discuss my games development.
As I am currently a full-time student, updates will be a bit slow, but progress is being made!
I will eventually work up my skills to make a single-player open-world 3D action-adventure RPG, but until then, it'll be small updates and progress reports from me, and several smaller games too.
I have a final series I will be working on, a massive-scale game split into three chapters with unique characters, gameplay, and settings. As such, the three chapters will have full-game prototypes for each.
Chapter 1 takes place in a much more localized academy setting. As such, there will be a smaller game taking place in a magic academy setting for me to better understand how to make an interesting, interactive environment with several fleshed out characters to meet and work with.
Chapter 2 will take place on the moon. As such, a game taking place in space will be the prototype, following a first-responder style of game where you play timed challenges and build teams with specialized skills to solve problems and save lives in time-sensitive cases.
Chapter 3 will take place in a city and finally implement combat, though much else has not been decided, as it is very much deep into the future.
While the three chapters will each have their own characters and story, I will also need to learn how to design, model, rig, and animate all sorts of things, plus put together an eye-pleasing UI for all of the games. There will also be quite the learning curve for sound and music design, as well as figuring out smaller game parts, like an inventory system that doesn't drive players up a wall to use.
I would like to make a YouTube account to vlog progress, but that may grow incredibly difficult as my workload increases over the years. As such, I will include a monthly post where I say how far I've been able to make it, possibly with pictures to boot.
